George De Marco, Frank Evans and Jack Lechner will present a staged reading of the new musical DATE OF A LIFETIME, book and lyrics by Carl Kissin and music by Robert Baumgartner, Jr.

Jeremy Dobrish (Rated P... for Parenthood, Signs of Life, Baby Case) directs the cast comprised of Farah Alvin (The Last Smoker in America, Drama Desk Nominee for The Marvelous Wonderettes) and Jamie LaVerdiere (Motown, the Musical; The Producers). Lisa Dozier King (Sistas, the Musical, Bronte) is the general manager and Liz Ulmer (Flambé Dreams) is company manager.

DATE OF A LIFETIME first premiered at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2011, where it garnered two awards for excellence. Marvin and Katie meet at speed dating. During their eight minutes together, Marvin imagines an entire lifetime with Katie -- then she does the same. Will this be a date from hell, or the date of a lifetime?

George De Marco has been producing theatre for nearly 20 years - most recently the New York premiere of the Olivier Award-winning Burning Blue and the NYMF Audience Award-winning The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun. He is a proud graduate of the commercial theatre institute and a member of TRU. Frank Evans produced the Sh-K-Boom/Footlights recording "From the BMI Workshop: No More Revivals," a Summer 2013 release, and is producing director of Musical Mondays Theatre Lab. Jack Lechner, lyricist of the Outer Critics Circle Best Off-Broadway Musical The Kid, is a veteran film and television producer (The Fog of War, Blue Valentine).
