Fred Barton returns to the Metropolitan Room on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 7:00 PM with Fred Barton PRESENTS – AND THINKS YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT! – in which he hosts, sings and plays with his 9-piece Broadway Band, bringing back classic Broadway show music, with some swing on the side. At each monthly performance, Fred features two of his favorite singers, with additional special guests.

For his February edition of his show, Fred will feature the indefatigable Karen Murphy (9 To 5, A Little Night Music, Zombie Prom, All Shook Up, My Vaudeville Man, and the City Opera's Most Happy Fella) and the impeccable Kevin Earley (Death Takes A Holiday, A Tale Of Two Cities, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Les Miserables). The sensational Pamela Myers (Tony nominee for introducing "Another Hundred People" in Company) will make  a special appearances, along with Fred's previous guest singers Elena Bennett, Jesse Luttrell and Karen Wilder, who will make encore appearances.

"Karen Murphy is one of today's most unique and versatile talents both as a powerhouse singer and an accomplished actress and comedienne. Kevin Earley is the last word in the great Broadway leading-man matinée idol category, with a magnificent voice and magnetic acting (as he recently demonstrated spectacularly in Death Takes A Holiday. Pamela Myers blazed onto Broadway with 'Another Hundred People,' and I want her back. I can't wait to feature them with the Broadway Band.

" Classic show music has taken a bit of a hit lately around town," Fred adds. "I love show music. I love a good band. I love a great singer. And I especially love a great singer singing a great show song with a great band. I am also very pleased that musical theatre veterans have taken notice of what I'm doing at the Metropolitan Room and I am in contact with several of them about making special guest appearances."

"Fred Barton PRESENTS – AND THINKS YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT!" will be presented monthly throughout 2012, with a CD release in July.

The show's debut in September was a sell-out smash, with a line down the street, walkups turned away and a jam-packed room. The January edition, featuring Elena Bennett and Damon Kirsche, likewise sold out.
