Jay Leno will take his final bow as host of NBC's THE TONIGHT SHOW on February 6, 2014. Jimmy Fallon will take over the reins of the long running late night talk show on February 17th and will move the show to 30 Rock in New York. Leno will have hosted THE TONIGHT SHOW for 22 years when he steps down.

As part of the transition, THE TONIGHT SHOW will be executive-produced by Emmy Award winner Lorne Michaels ("Saturday Night Live," "30 Rock"). Today, Fallon shared the official Logo for his new late night venture on Twitter. Check it out at left!

Earlier today, NBC announced that they will air the "Best of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Primetime Special" on Sunday, Jan. 5 (9-11 p.m. ET/PT). The program will consist of highlights from the five years that "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" has been on the air. The show launched March 2, 2009.

Backed by the house band the Roots, Fallon has interviewed and performed with some of the top names in entertainment and politics, including First Lady Michelle Obama, Tom Cruise, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Miley Cyrus and Justin Timberlake. His comedic sketches have often become viral video phenomenons. The "Late Night" parodies of such shows as "Breaking Bad," "Game of Thrones," "The Real Housewives" franchise, "Jersey Shore" and "Downton Abbey" have been seen by millions around the world.
