Ensemble 212 and the Young New Yorker's Chorus are teaming up to present Life, Hopes & Dreams: Ke-Chia Chen & Mahler on Saturday, April 5th at 8pm. Featuring the world premiere of Yoon Jae Lee's orchestral reduction of Mahler's monumental Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection," the New York Premiere of Ensemble 212's Composer in Residence Ke-Chia Chen's Chasing The Sun and a choral arrangement of "Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen" performed by the Young New Yorkers' Chorus led by Michael Kerschner. The soloists are two extremely talented singers, soprano Raquel Gonzalez and mezzo-soprano Hyona Kim led by conductor Kyunghun Kim.
