11-year-old Broadway actress, musician, and performer Isabela Moner announced today the launch of a RocketHub campaign to raise funds for her new album celebrating her passion for Broadway, her Latin American heritage and her love for music. The album will feature Isabela's own compositions and collaborations, as well as newly arranged covers of classic songs and modern hits, and will be released this summer.

Award-winning musicians have come together to mentor and guide Isabela on this journey. Songwriters Joe Iconis (NBC's SMASH, The Black Suits, Things To Ruin) and Paul Scott Goodman (Rooms, Bright Lights Big City) are among the artists collaborating in this album.

The recording will be produced and arranged at Kontinuous Jams Recording by founder Michael J Moritz.

Proceeds from the RocketHub campaign will cover the recording process, editing, mixing and mastering and other related costs. RocketHub supporters can choose from a variety of awards including MP3 downloads, time in the recording studio, concert tickets, Skype concerts, and many more exciting opportunities.

Isabela's debut album is just one of many opportunities that have been presented to her in the last year and a half. Since Fall of 2011, when Isabela first set foot in a New York City audition room, she has booked national commercials, TV pilots, film projects and has made her Broadway debut in the revival of Evita starring Ricky Martin, Elena Rogers, and Michael Cerveris. She performs at notable New York City venues such as 54 Below and The Cutting Room and participates in many charity events.

Latin Grammy-Award winner Gianmarco wrote the following on his Facebook page after watching her perform in a TV segment that earned national attention in Peru, South America: "caí rendido!! Isabela Moner!!!!!!!!!!!!! aqui estoy cuando me necesites!!!! es increíble esta hermosa niña!!," "I surrender! Isabela Moner! Here I am when you need me! This little girl is beautiful!"

"I was in shock when the label approached me and asked if I wanted to be the first 11-year-old Broadway actor to record her first Solo Album!," says Isabela. "I started writing songs when I was 6 years old, but I never had the courage to show anyone any of my stuff. It wasn't until the events of Sandy Hook that I was inspired to share the song that I wrote for the victims' families. I named the song Never Alone, because I have learned through my journey as an artist that, in life, we should all walk with the knowledge that we are never alone."

"I want to share songs that have meaning, that tell a story and that share how a kid like me who grew up listening to the Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Caetano Veloso, Louis Armstrong, and current artists like Gianmarco, Colbie Caillat, and Katy Perry interprets and learns from all these artists."
