Do210 and The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts proudly announce the first free concert on the River Walk Plaza, Siempre San Antonio. Held during opening weekend on September 6, 2014, Siempre San Antonio will highlight local and regional talent with performances by Nina Diaz, Lonely Horse and David Garza.

"As the premiere local events calendar, Do210.com is proud to partner with the Tobin Center and Nina Diaz to present the first event on The Tobin Center River Walk Plaza. This opening marks a new era in San Antonio's musical landscape from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective," explains Blayne Tucker, managing partner for Do210. "Never has there been such a level of consistent artistic talent flowing through our city. We all look forward to opening this one of a kind venue, built for the entire local community and people of San Antonio."

"The Tobin Center will have something for everyone," says Aaron Zimmerman, Senior Director of Programming and Marketing for the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. "We wanted to provide a free event to the city of San Antonio featuring the best regional talent available to open up the River Walk Plaza with a real party - I think we have accomplished just that goal with Siempre San Antonio."

The concert will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014, with doors opening at 6pm. Admission is free, but a ticket is require for entry. Headlining the event is Nina Diaz (lead singer for the acclaimed indie band Girl in a Coma) making her debut hometown performance as a solo artist with her new band. Nina has been hailed by NPR as "one of the two or three most exciting, scary-good vocalists in rock today." Fresh from her sold out debut show in Austin this June and July West Coast performances, Nina returns to San Antonio to present her new solo material and five-piece band to her hometown.

Lonely Horse, the powerful San Antonio duo, who recently played to packed crowds in New York, winning the AfroPunk Battle of the Bands, will also be showcasing their homegrown talent with a special set.

Opening up the night is David Garza, an inductee into the Austin Music Hall Of Fame, who has released over 30 albums, and has been invited to tour with the likes of Pearl Jam, Fiona Apple, Alejandro Escovedo, Rhett Miller, and others.
