Dick Cavett has been a television host, comedian and writer. He is best known for his talk show that aired during the 1970s-1980s. He's won three Emmy awards for his work. Additionally, he has co-authored two books with Christopher Porterfield. Currently Cavett is a contributing blogger to The New York Times.
