Brian Dennehy, now appearing as Matthew Harrison Brady in the Broadway revival of Inherit the Wind, will be Theater Talk's guest this upcoming Friday.  He will discuss playing one of the best-known characters in American theater. 

The program will also feature a brief chat with playwright David Lindsay Abaire, whose Rabbit Hole recently won the Pulitzer Prize. The latter interview was taped outside last year's Tony Awards celebration.

Brian Dennehy has won two Tonys - for Death of a Salesman in 1999 and for Long Day's Journey Into Night. His TV work has earned him six Emmy nominations, most recently for Showtime's "Our Fathers," and previously for "To Catch a Killer," "Burden of Proof," and "A Killing in a Small Town," among others. Moviegoers know him from his character roles in, among others, First Blood, Silverado, Legal Eagles, Presumed Innocent, and Tommy Boy.

This episode of Theater Talk premieres on PBS/Thirteen on Friday, April 27 at 12:30 AM. It will repeat on CUNY TV: Saturday, May 5 at 8:30 PM; Sunday, May 6 at 12:30 PM; Monday, May 7 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM, and will also will air on WGBH/Boston(44) on Sunday, May 13 at 4:30 PM.
