Daveed Diggs Set for Andy Samberg's Pro Cycling Mockumentary on HBO

HAMILTON's Daveed Diggs is zipping from Broadway -- where he takes his final bow tonight as iconic American figures Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson -- to pro cycling.

TVLine writes that the versatile star will appear in Andy Samberg and MurRay Miller's upcoming HBO mockumentary TOUR DE PHARMACY, about doping in the professional cycling community.

Samberg is also set to star, along with Will Forte, Julia Ormond, Phylicia Rashad, Dolph Lundgren, John Cena, Mike Tyson and Nathan Fielder in the cast.

Miller is writing the script and executive producing with Samberg and director Jake Szymanski. David Bernad and M Elizabeth Hughes are also producing.

Diggs's credits include, national tour: Word Becomes Flesh. Regional: In the Red and Brown Water, Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, The Tempest, Troilus and Cressida, Mirrors in Every Corner. Albums: CLPPNG (Sub Pop Records) and Midcity with Clipping; Small Things to a Giant.
