About The Art of Steve Ditko

Steve Ditko, the co-creator of Spider-Man and Dr. Strange, remains an enigma, though this book draws us closer to the artist and gives us a better understanding of his amazing work. Introducing the very best of rare and striking Steve Ditko comic book stories and original art, this large-format beautifully showcases Ditko's work, with many reproductions of original art pieces by the master comic book artist. Edited and designed by Craig Yoe (Secret Identity), with essays by P. Craig Russell, John Romita, and Jerry Robinson, plus an all-new Introduction by Stan Lee.

About Craig Yoe

Craig Yoe, the internationally renowned cartoonist, designer and author, runs YOE! Studio with Italian Design Queen Clizia Gussoni. The firm is housed in a mountaintop castle overlooking the Hudson River, 45 minutes from New York City. Craig has created acclaimed products
and promotions from MTV station ID spots to Disney theme park attractions.

Yoe has six patents for toy inventions. Before founding YOE! Studio, Craig was Creative Director/Vice President General Manager of Jim Henson's Muppets and a Creative Director at Nickelodeon. Dubbed "Dr. Seuss on acid!" by "Animation Magazine," Craig Yoe is a wildly
entertaining speaker on creativity. His worldwide travels as a lecturer have taken him to Italy, France, Argentina, South Africa, Australia, and Singapore. Closer to home, he teaches for the Master's program at Syracuse University and at other institutions of higher learning. He has curated fine art exhibits at museums from Japan to New York.

Among Craig's more than fifteen books are the lauded publication "The Art of Mickey Mouse" (with an introduction by John Updike), one of Time magazine's "Books of the Year," and "Weird but True Toon Factoids!" YOE! Studio has won numerous awards including the Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators, two Addys, the Mobius and the Will Eisner Comics Industry Award.
