Control Sector to Host Four-Day Popup Shop, 1/22-25

Control Sector is hosting a four-day popup shop powered by Miner and Flavor Productions in an event filled weekend of activities and guests to benefit the Jam Master Jay Foundation for Music. Housed in the The Hole NYC gallery space located at 312 Bowery, each day will hold surprises in-store for customers. In partnership with local Bushwick, Brooklyn artist Gazoo To The Moon, the shop will feature a full immersive artist installation. In addition, a limited collaborative hoody will be available to visitors that will directly benefit the JMJ Foundation.

Each day has a focused event, encompassing one aspect of the Control Sector lifestyle:

· Thursday 1/22 - Gazoo To The Moon: Art Installation Reception
· Friday 1/23 - Hip Hop / DJ Night: An Evening of Music
· Saturday 1/24 - Underground Up: Presentation and Party
· Sunday 1/25 - FIT Alumni / Family and Friends (Open House)

The event is shaping up to be an excellent follow-up for any NYC retail buyers who visit Control Sectors's third Liberty Fairs tradeshow appearance at Pier 94 in booth #837 (1/19 - 1/21). It will also be the first public preview of the FW15 Portable Empire collection, showing at NY Fashion Week next month, as well as including items for sale from W14 Sea of Noise, and SS15 Cyber Bully collections.

The Control Sector label has had a considerable amount success in their short time since inception just over a year ago. After two separate closing shows at the Lincoln Center Theatre for Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek in NYC, the brand was invited to show at Fashion Week Middle East in Dubai, UAE. They have been featured in fashion trade publications like WWD, as well as consumer lifestyle outlets including Complex and High Snobiety.
