The award-winning Company Theatre presents the premiere production of their first annual Winter Shorts Play Festival, featuring entertaining original ten-minute short plays submitted from the New England playwright community. Two performances will be held today, February 1, at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm, at The Company Theatre Centre for the Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell. The production features seven short works written on the theme of "Winter Heat: plays that explore the playfulness, passion, pleasure, and power of interpersonal relationships". Audience Choice Awards will be presented to writers, directors and actors at the festival.

The Winter Shorts Play Festival is The Company Theatre's inaugural new works event, inspiring support for emerging playwrights, igniting new play production and development, and impassioning the audience to participate in the process.
