According to The Hollywood Reporter, Catherine O'Hara has officially signed on to co-star in Fox's upcoming comedy pilot TO MY FUTURE ASSISTANT.

The project is based upon Lydia Whitlock's current blog and upcoming book, and follows a group of "assistants at a big New York law firm who band together as a family to help each other cope with the obnoxious overbearing bosses who challenge their sanity on a daily basis," the site reports.

O'Hara will play 'Magda,' an accomplished and all-powerful lawyer, who appears to be friendly, but most definitely isn't.

Her film roles include After Hours, Beetlejuice, Home Alone, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the mockumentaries written and directed by Christopher Guest including Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and For Your Consideration.
