CBS is First in Viewers and Key Demos for 2nd Straight Week

CBS was first in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the second consecutive week, with five of the top 10 and 10 of the top 20 broadcasts, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 30, Week 27 of the 2013-2014 season.

THE GOOD WIFE continued to grow, delivering its largest audience of the season and ranking eighth among all Primetime broadcasts. Survivor delivered its largest audience of the spring edition, beating "American Idol" in viewers for the first time while The Amazing Race posted week-to-week growth, delivering the All-Star edition's largest audience.

THE GOOD WIFE

THE GOOD WIFE (9:20-10:20 PM) was first in viewers (10.96m) and adults 25-54 (2.7/06) and was second in adults 18-49 (1.8/04, -0.1 behind ABC) in the 9:30-10:30 PM hour. Compared to last week, The Good Wife was up +35% in adults 25-54 (from 2.0/05), +29% in adults 18-49 (from 1.4/04) and added +1.84m viewers (from 9.12m, +20%). The Good Wife posted its best viewer delivery since Jan. 29, 2012 and its best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 performances since Jan. 20, 2014.


SURVIVOR

SURVIVOR was first in viewers (9.85m), adults 25-54 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). Survivor beat "American Idol" for the first time ever in viewers in their common hour and for the third consecutive week in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Survivor posted the largest audience of the spring edition. Compared to last week, Survivor was up (from 5.6/09), even in adults 25-54 and added +390,000 viewers (from 9.46m, +4%).


THE AMAZING RACE

THE AMAZING RACE (8:20-9:20 PM) was first viewers (9.51m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.8/07, with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (2.0/05) from 8:30-9:30 PM. Compared to last week, The Amazing Race was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/06), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 1.8/05) and added +800,000 viewers (from 8.71m, +9%). The Amazing Race posted its best viewer delivery since Dec. 1, 2013 and best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 performances since Dec. 8, 2013.


HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (9.04m) was first in adults 18-49 (3.5/11), adults 18-34 (2.4/12) and was second in adults 25-54 (3.7/10) with its penultimate episode. Compared to last week, How I Met Your Mother was up +12% in adults 25-54 (from 3.3/09), +21% in both adults 18-49 (from 2.9/09) and adults 18-34 (from 2.8/11) and added +1.26m viewers (from 7.78m, +16%).


NCIS

NCIS, with the introduction of the New Orleans characters, was first in viewers (17.52m), second in adults 25-54 (3.7/10) and adults 18-49 (2.5/08). Compared to last week, NCIS was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08), even in adults 25-54 and +410,000 viewers (from 17.11m, +2%).
