Brooke Shields Among Speaker LIneup for NBCUniversal's 'Know Your Value' Event

NBCUniversal News Group and Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," announced today the special guests for the next "Know Your Value" tour live event in Washington, D.C. on Friday, May 15 at the Marriott Marquis. Earlier today on "Morning Joe," Brzezinski also announced the three finalists who have been selected to compete for a $10,000 bonus onstage during the event. This event will be open to the media; media interested in covering it must RSVP by Monday, May 11.

Brzezinski will be joined by a lineup of guests, including Brooke Shields; U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO); Katty Kay, lead anchor for "BBC World News America"; Nicolle Wallace, co-host of "The View" and former White House Communications Director; Joe Scarborough, co-host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" and NBC News Senior Political Analyst; Andrea Mitchell, host of MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports" and NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent; Alex Wagner, host of MSNBC's "NOW with Alex Wagner"; Thomas Roberts, host of "MSNBC Live with Thomas Roberts"; Cindi Leive, Editor in Chief, Glamour; Doreen Gentzler, NBC4 news anchor; Karen Licitra, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Government Affairs & Policy, Johnson & Johnson; Candi Wolff, Executive Vice President, Global Government Affairs, Citi; Dr. Tanya Benenson, Chief Medical Officer and Vice President, Strategic Health Initiatives, Comcast NBCUniversal; and Michelle Smith, founder and designer of MILLY. These guests will participate in a variety of interactive panels and one-on-one coaching, which will explore tools for negotiating for promotions, maintaining relationships and communicating effectively through body language and personal style.

In addition, Roberts and Gentzler will guest judge the "Grow Your Value Bonus Competition" alongside Brzezinski, which will feature three finalists competing for one $10,000 grand prize, announced live at the event. The finalists are Kay Brown of Hampton, VA; Kara Gorski of Alexandria, VA; and Gabrielle Pelicci of Bronx, NY. In advance of the live event, the three finalists will attend Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute's Corporate Athlete training course to learn how to make fundamental life changes to become better leaders and achieve their personal best at work and home
