Broadway veteran Lawrence Street, who was working on choreographing a production of 'The Wizard of Oz' in Denver, has been reported missing.

The Denver Post reports that Street has failed to appear at key 'Oz' rehearsals. Though he reportedly sent an ambiguous text message on Monday afternoon, he has not been seen since around 5 AM on Sunday morning.

"The police have been unhelpful," Street's friend Franklin Trapp wrote in an email to the Post. "They said they will not turn on the GPS on his phone, as he is not believed to be suicidal and because he is not a child. Lawrence is reliable, he is steady. He would never have missed a tech rehearsal. We are very concerned, as he does not know Denver at all, and would appreciate people keeping a look out for him."

If you or someone you know has any information, please contact the Louisville Police Department at 303-666-6531, the Denver Police Department at 720-913-2000, or Street's friends John Ayres at 917-617-4861 or Erin Quill at 213-926-7465. Street is described as 5-foot-11, African-American and in his late 30s in appearance.
