A Broadway Baker's Dozen of great talents will take The Town Hall stage by storm on Monday, April 7 at 8pm when Broadway by the Year salutes 1954.  Songs from famous shows like The Pajama Game, Peter Pan, The Boy Friend, and Fanny will be featured in this critically acclaimed concert series that is now in its 8th Season. In addition to the two stars of The Little Mermaid, Sierra Boggess and Sean Palmer, plus the star of Xanadu, Cheyenne Jackson, Tony Nominee Emily Skinner, Curtains star Noah Racey, dancing sensations Kendrick Jones and Melinda Sullivan, and Nightlife Award winning vocalist Scott Coulter, the show's creator/writer/host Scott Siegel announced yet more great stars for this one-night only concert: Tony Award winner Debbie Gravitte, from Mary Poppins, Mark Price, from The Glorious Ones, Natalie Venetia Belcon, from Junie B. Jones, Jen Cody, and a Broadway favorite who has graced the Great White Way for more than fifty years: Harvey Evans.

'After the amazing reaction to last month's Broadway by the Year devoted to 1947,' said Siegel, 'I was looking for a way to continue to up the ante and somehow top that show with 1954. This show, like the last, will feature six different song and dance numbers. I didn't think we'd be able to do it, but with the addition to our creative team of choreographer Josh Rhodes, who was the assistant choreographer of The Drowsy Chaperone, we are well on our way to a rich and diverse evening of song and dance. Since adopting the practice of creating large casts,' Siegel continued, we have been getting an ever greater number of major stars in these Town Hall concerts. I am thrilled to have Debbie Gravitte back again as well as welcome Mark Price, Natalie Belcon, and Jen Cody to their first Broadway by the Year concert.'

The show will be directed by Scott Coulter with musical direction by Ross Patterson.

1954 on Broadway was memorable for it marked the debut of the composing team of Adler and Ross and their The Pajama Game, the first of many musicals produced by Harold Prince, Julie Andrews made her Broadway debut in The Boy Friend, David Merrick produced his first musical - Harold Rome's Fanny, Mary Martin made flying history with her unforgettable Peter Pan, and the first musical to transfer to the Great White Way from Off-Broadway - The Golden Apple.

"We're thrilled to present the second show in this, the eighth season for Broadway By The Year," said Lawrence C. Zucker, The Town Hall Executive Director & Artistic Director. "With such a wide selection to choose from - well known shows, and lesser known-ones, we're sure audiences will have another great night of pure entertainment at The Town Hall."
