Brent & Rachael Ditzler joined Totem Pole Playhouse Fiddler, Larry Dahlke for a private session at the summer playhouse in Caledonia recently.  Brent Ditzler, age 9 is in the 3rd grade at Corpus Christi and has been playing the violin for 5 years.  His sister, Rachael, age 12 is a 7th grader at Corpus Christi in Chambersburg and has been playing the violin for almost 10 years.  She is a member of the Hershey Symphony Festival Strings conducted by ASCAP award winning arranger, Dr. Sandra Dackow.

The sister & brother team are members of the Central Pennsylvania Suzuki Association and students of Lynn Murphy of Harrisburg.  Both have also had traditional Irish fiddling instruction at the Pennsylvania Suzuki Institute under Chris Brennan Hagy of Philadelphia.

Larry Dahlke spent his first summer at Totem Pole Playhouse appearing as the fiddling disciple in Cotton Patch Gospel, Gary Peter Lefkowitz in I Hate Hamlet and on violin in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.  Much of the last four years, Larry has appeared at Wayside Theatre in Middletown, VA.
