Blackfriars Theatre, a professional, not-for-profit theatre located on Rochester, NY's "Theatre Row" keeps the beginning of the Rochester theatre season rolling with the premiere of "[title of show]," a musical, with music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen, and book by Hunter Bell.
This Tony Award nominated musical finds two struggling writers, Jeff and Hunter, who hear about a new musical theatre festival. However, the deadline is a mere three weeks away. With nothing to lose, the pair decides to try and create something entirely new with the help of two of their best friends, Heidi and Susan. They make a pact to write up until the festival's deadline and dream about the show changing their lives. A tuneful love letter to the uniquely American art form.

"[title of show]" stars: Dan Howell as Jeff Matt Liptak, as hunter, Elizabeth West as Heidi, and Janine Mercandetti, as Susan
Direction, and design is by John Haldoupis, with musical direction by Andy Pratt.
