Bernadette Peters Adds More Stops to National Concert Tour

Tony Award-winner Bernadette Peters has added a few more engagements to her upcoming national concert tour.

In addition to the previously-announced stops, Peters will perform dates at Caesar's Atantic City in Atlantic City, NJ, The Pond in Anaheim, CA and in Sun Valley, ID. She will also appear at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall on May 1st, 2006.

The concert will feature Peters performing a mix on Broadway songs and pop standards--among them "Let Me Entertain You" and "Rose's Turn" from Gypsy, "Not A Day Goes By," "Children Will Listen," "Some Enchanted Evening" and "Fever."

A two-time Tony-winner for Song and Dance and Annie Get Your Gun, Peters has received Tony nominations for her performances in the 1972 revival of On the Town, Mack and Mabel, Sunday in the Park with George, The Goodbye Girl and the 2003 revival of Gypsy. She also originated the role of the Witch in Into the Woods, and has appeared in such films as Slaves of New York, Alice, The Jerk and It Runs in the Family. Her latest recording, Sondheim Etc., Etc.--Bernadette Peters Live at Carnegie Hall (The Rest of It)--is currently available in stores.

Tour dates which have been announced are as follows:

February 10th-11th, 2006 at Caesar's Atlantic City in Atlantic City, NJ
February 18th at the Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver, CO
March 29th at the Pond in Anaheim, CA
April 22nd at the BJCC Concert Hall in Birmingham, AL
April 27th-29th at the National Arts Center in Ottawa, Ontario
May 1st at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center in NY, NY
July 30th in Sun Valley, ID
August 25th at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in Cerritos, CA
