Based on the Academy Award winning film, starring Patrick Swayze, Whoopi Goldberg and Demi Moore, GHOST the Musical makes its regional premiere at North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre this spring.

Adapted for the black box space, the show focuses on the beauty of the text and explores the human emotions of love, loss, betrayal, hope, and living each moment to its fullest. Bruce Joel Rubin adapts his Oscar-winning screenplay for the stage, featuring beautiful music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning legends Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard (writer of Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror).

The cast features John Millsaps (Sam Wheat), Lauren Bamford (Molly), Jonathan Rand (Carl Bruner), and Tina Morris-Anderson (Oda Mae Brown). Rounding out the ensemble are: Sean Allen, Jarrett Bennett, Tieshya Coleman, Kimmy Fiorentino, Isaiah McGuire, Destiny McNeill, Heather Shinpaugh, Summer Stanley, Samuel Walker, and Ty West.

Directed by Chasta Hamilton Calhoun with music direction by Diane Pettaway, designed by Jeremy Diamond, Jen Lenier, and Elizabeth Anderson, GHOST promises to be a magical night out that will send spirits soaring.

North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre is located at 7713-51 Lead Mine Road. Tickets range from $12-$20 and may be purchased by calling 919-866-0228 or visiting www.nract.org. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged.
