6@6 at Yamaha Solo Piano Series presents Beatrice Long in concert on Tuesday, April 25 @ 6:00 PM, as the fourth program of their 2017 performance series, curated by Mirian Conti, at Yamaha Artists Piano Salon, 689 Fifth Avenue (entrance on 54th street), 3rd floor in Manhattan.

Repertoire will be works of Scarlatti, Albeniz, Chopin and Ligeti.

Ms. Long has performed as a soloist with Baltimore Symphony, Orquesta Sinfonia Estato de Mexico, National Symphony of Taiwan, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Jura Symphony Orchestra (France) and Ensemble du Monde among others. A medalist in Cleveland International Competition, she received critical acclaim with recitals at Chicagos Ravinia Festival, Festivals of Champagne and Fontainebleau (France), Kunsthalle Appenzelle (Switzerland), Phillips Gallery (Washington D.C.), and the American Embassies in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Honduras. A native of Taiwan, Ms. Long was invited to perform for the President of Taiwan in the Presidential Palace. She is a recording artist with Naxos and Dorian sono Luminus. A graduate of Curtis Institute of Music and Peabody Conservatory, her teachers include Mieczyslaw Horszowski, Seymour Lipkin, Leon Fleisher and Gaby Casadesus. Visit her at www.beatricelong.net.

6 @ 6 at Yamaha, a solo piano performance series in its third season, curated by internationally renowned pianist Mirian Conti, has announced dates and performers for Spring 2017 at Yamaha Artists Piano Salon, on the 3rd floor of 689 Fifth Avenue (entrance on 54th street), in New York, New York. The series was formerly known as 5 @ 5 at DiMenna.
