TV: ALADDIN's Iglehart on Winning 2014 Tony for Best Featured Actor in a Musical

As announced earlier this evening, James Monroe Iglehart won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for Aladdin. BroadwayWorld's own Richard Ridge was in the press room to catch up with the winner on what the award means to him - hear what Iglehart had to say below!

This is James Monroe Iglehart's first Tony nomination. He has also appeared on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Memphis.

Iglehart originated the role of Bobby in the Tony® Award-winning musical Memphis. He was featured on stage and screen in such shows as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Broadway), The Wiz (Off-Broadway), "The Good Wife" and "The Electric Company" (Silent E Soloist). James is also a member of the hip hop improv group Freestyle Love Supreme. James dedicates his performance to Dawn and his nieces and nephews.
