Tony Award-winning singer/actor Idina Menzel is in the midst of a busy holiday season, leading Broadway's IF/THEN and promoting her new Christmas album, titled 'Holiday Wishes.' The album, released on October 14th, was produced by Grammy Award-winner Walter Afanasieff (Barbra Streisand,Celine Dion, Mariah Carey) and features such classic favorites as "A Holly Jolly Christmas" and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," as well as Joni Mitchell's Christmas-themed "River," one of Menzel's favorites. Menzel's career has traversed stage, film, television, and music. She was most recently heard as Elsa in Disney's global box-office smash Frozen, in which she sings the film's Oscar-winning song "Let It Go." After Menzel's performance of the multi-platinum song at the 86th annual Academy Awards, she made history as the first person with both a Billboard Top 10 hit and a Tony Award for acting. Menzel currently stars as Elizabeth in the original Broadway production of If/Then.
Since Idina is having a whirlwind month of both performing on Broadway and releasing a chart-reaching (and wonderful) holiday album, we decided to follow this 'Broadway stars goes big' as she travels the world's stages, the small screen and beyond with all sorts of wonderful appearances this season. Idina Gets in the Holiday Spirit
The arrival of the holidays wouldn't be complete without a dazzling display of musical talent and the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree, hosted by "Today" show anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales. Idina on Frozen sequel:"I didn't confirm anything"
Menzel visited The Morning Show where she further discussed her earlier 'confirmation' of a Frozen sequel. Furthermore, she reflected on the legnth of her career, commenting: "I've been around, if that's what you're trying to say. Yeah - I'm a good wine! I just want people to understand how this business is and for that reason I take what is happening right now... I don't take it seriously, but I embrace it. I know how fleeting it can be."

Idina Finds a Country Duet Partner
Menzel dropped by this year's CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS to promote her new album "Holiday Wishes" and sang "Let It Go" with host Jennifer Nettles. Watch the performance below! The fifth annual CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS brought viewers the magic of the holidays with their favorite Country stars performing classic Christmas songs and sharing their treasured holiday memories. A night of celebration guaranteed to get you in the spirit, "CMA Country Christmas" comes to ABC each Christmas season, hosted byJennifer Nettles. The show was taped post-CMAs on November 7 in Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
Menzel also stopped by TODAY to perform the holiday classic 'Silent Night' from her highly-anticipated Christmas album, titled 'Holiday Wishes,' now available on Warner Bros. It was also just reported that the album has reached the #10 spot on the Billboard Album Charts. Check out the appearance below!
As the 2014 holiday season begins, top Syndicated morning show "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" celebrates this December with festive theme weeks, an annual Christmas Eve extravaganza, and a fun-filled 2014 end of the year special. "LIVE" gets into the Christmas spirit with "LIVE's Holiday Hits Week." The lineup includes an eclectic mix of music acts, including legendary opera singer RENÉE FLEMING, country singer SARA EVANS, folk duo JOHNNYSWIM, R&B singer-songwriter ANTHONY HAMILTON, and Menzel herself on Friday, December 12.
