The arrival of the holidays wouldn't be complete without a dazzling display of musical talent and the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree, hosted by "Today" show anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales. Click below to watch Broadway star Idina Menzel perform "Holly Jolly Chirstmas" at today's Rockefeller Center event in NYC!

The star-studded tree lighting extravaganza also featured musical guests Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett, Cyndi Lauper featuring Billy Porter, Seth MacFarlane featuring Sara Bareilles, Pentatonix, LeAnn Rimes, the Rockettes, Prince Royce, Darius Rucker, and Trisha Yearwood performing current hits and holiday classics.

Menzel's career has traversed stage, film, television, and music. She was most recently heard as 'Elsa' in Disney's global box-office smash FROZEN, in which she sings the film's Oscar-winning song "Let It Go." After Menzel's performance of the multi-platinum song at the 86th annual Academy Awards, she made history as the first person with both a Billboard Top 10 hit and a Tony Award for acting. Menzel currently stars as Elizabeth in the original Broadway production of IF/THEN.
