The Downtown Cabaret Theatre brings to the stage, Frosty the Snowman in Bridgeport, Connecticut, telling a familiar tale with a modern feel.

The family-friendly musical is the Cabaret Theatre Children's Company exclusive, telling a tale of the charming town of Evergreen and the magic of Christmas.

When a few young kids decide to make a snowman, not even their wildest dreams can prepare them for what happens when they place a fancy top hot on the giant balls of winter snow: Frosty (Lance Anthony) emerges from a cloud of smoke and lightning, showing the children magic does exist when you believe.

But when the evil Mayor Crabtree (T. Sean Maher) tries to stop Christmas from coming this year - and weekends and summer vacation - Frosty and the kids work together to form a plan to bring back everyone's favorite holiday just in time to celebrate.

And the characters put on a celebratory performance throughout the show, singing and dancing to songs like "School's Out For Christmas," "Stayin' Alive," and the infamous Mariah Carey hit, "All I Want For Christmas Is You."

Between the energetic interaction with the crowd, and the overall spirit of Christmas, this show is a hit for both the young and old, set to be a classic for the upcoming years.
