Boys' Night: An All-Male Cirquelesque Revue to donate 50% of all ticket sales from the July 7th, 2016 show to charities supporting the Pulse Nightclub Orlando Shooting Victims and their Families

For the July 7th installment of Boys' Night: An All-Male Cirquelesque Revue at Manhattan's The Slipper Room, the Boys and the venue will be donating 50% of all tickets sales to support Pulse Nightclub Victims and their families. In this time of tremendous tragedy and loss, the Boys were looking for a way in which we could help out those who have been so brutally wounded and those coping with the loss of their loved ones. Donating our proceeds from this next show seemed like the best way to help. In this show, we aim to celebrate each of the 49 lives lost and the many injured through joy, laughter, circus and boylesque. Join us for an unforgettable evening! The proceeds will be given to Equality Florida (www.eqfl.org) and their GoFund Me (www.gofundme.com/PulseVictimsFund) campaign which has already raised close to 5 million dollars.

Please join us and other fellow New Yorkers to lend a helping hand in this time of senseless tragedy and to send a little more positive and loving energy into the world. Details on where the money being donated is listed below:

From the Equality Florida GoFundMe page:

This is the official Pulse Victims Fund page for Equality Florida, the state's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization. Equality Florida is collecting contributions via this GoFundMe page to support every single victim of the horrific shooting at Orlando's Pulse Nightclub. This includes victims' families, survivors, and those in the club who may not have suffered physical injury but in need of support.

We are working with the National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC) to distribute the contributions via their National Compassion Fund ( http://nationalcompassionfund.org/ faq/).

The Fund was first proposed by victims and families from past mass casualty crimes across the country, including 9/11, Columbine, Va Tech, NIU, Aurora, Oak Creek, and Newtown. After they experienced stressful and prolonged negotiations attempting to collect money donated in their names, they asked the National Center for Victims of Crime to partner with them to develop a new model of giving-one that genuinely serves victims, donors, and the wider public.

NCVC has begun deployment of short-term disbursements from our fundraising efforts, and connected victims with the immediate funds available via state and federal resources. We are committed to raising as much as we can to ensure long-term support for the victims' families and survivors. The money raised towards this fund directly supports the victims families and survivors, NCVC does not charge any fees for this service.

We ask all victims to call this hotline to begin this process:
