Called "a batshit-crazy comedy puppet show about a couple of bears in space...a riotous, hilarious, trippy journey to infinity and beyond," by Time Out London, the cult hit show BEARS IN SPACE arrives in New York City after sold-out runs in Dublin, Edinburgh, and London with its acclaimed original cast. Two cosmonaut bears on a spaceship hurtle toward the impossibly distant limits of the universe while chased by villainous beings. An ethereal adventure that considers the perils and wonders of a journey across space and time to nowhere.

This "intergalactic lunacy" (The Upcoming) features Jack Gleeson, Aaron Heffernan, Cameron Macaulay and Eoghan Quinn.

Eoghan Quinn (playwright/performer) is an Irish writer and performer based in Brooklyn, New York. He is currently a MacCracken fellow at New York University, pursuing a PhD in English literature. He has written a number of plays for Collapsing Horse, including Bears in Space (2014), Distance From the Event (2013), and Monster/Clock (Irish Times 'Best Children's Theatre,' 2012). His new play The Water Orchard will tour London, Edinburgh and Dublin in Summer 2017 in association with Project Arts Centre, Dublin.

Dan Colley (director) is Co-Artistic Director of Collapsing Horse, a company dedicated to producing entertaining, audience-focused, philosophically provocative work that merges artistic disciplines. As a dramaturg, his work mainly focuses on devised, collaborative writing, documentary work and dance. As a facilitator, Dan trained with the National Association of Youth Drama and has worked with organizations as diverse as the Abbey Theatre, Los Angeles LGBT Center Homeless Youth Project, the Gaiety School of Acting and Macra na Feirme. Dan produced the Dublin Fringe Festival's TWENTY FIRST project - a year-long celebration/upending of the festival for its twenty first birthday, undertaken by a group of self-selecting twenty-one year olds. Dan is a member of the Project Arts Centre, a resident in FRINGE LAB, Theatre Artist in Residence in Draíocht, a recipient of the ART 2016 Next Generation Bursary from the Arts Council, and has BA in English and Philosophy from NUI Galway.
