In 1998, he recorded a solo album under the name Graham Central Station, GCS 2000. It was a collaboration between Larry Graham and Prince. Gregg Rolie is responsible for co-founding two phenomenally popular, multi-platinum many times over super groups that indeed are, SANTANA and JOURNEY. In 1998, the world class keyboardist-vocalist-producer was inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall Of Fame as part of the original Santana band. In addition to launching- along with Carlos Santana- the now legendary act, Rolie also co-produced their first four groundbreaking albums. What's more, his singing talents will forever be immortalized by his unforgettable lead vocals on classic Santana greatest hits including "Black Magic Woman" "Evil Ways" and the Tito Puente composition "Oye Como Va".
After choosing to part ways with Santana after album number four, Rolie went immediately on to establish Journey with fellow ex-Santana mate, guitarist Neal Schon, in 1972. In its original incarnation, Journey delivered a unique jazz-rock amalgam that spotlighted solo instrumental work more than vocals. In addition to once again lending his considerable vocal and keyboard prowess to the endeavor, Rolie co-wrote and co-produced the band's first seven albums, and credits the Journey era with substantially honing his songwriting skills, a strength clearly evident on ROOTS' outstanding repertoire. Rolie toured extensively with Journey, remaining on throughout multiple personnel changes, including the 1978 addition of Steve Perry as lead vocalist ("We were now writing for singers instead of solos", says Rolie) before exiting after the hugely successful 1981 live double album Captured.

Cage penned one of the landmark records of the golden era of NYC underground/independent rap music in the late 90s on Fondle 'em records. The record was called Agent Orange b/w Radio Head. The record propelled Cage into cult star status. + After a few more singles with Fondle 'Em, Cage formed The Smut Peddlers with The High Mighty on Rawkus records. The record sold over 50 thousand copies and solidified Cage's status as a rising rap star in the independent scene. + Cage went on to do more records with Eastern Conference records.
His solo debut Movies for the Blind was the realization of the very character he became through his tortured early years, relying on raw, savage, often cruel, misogynistic, gritty and rebellious attitudes he had formed through his earlier years. The record struck a chord, selling 15 thousand copies in just 2 weeks, and his legion of dedicated fans grew ever bigger, attracted to his visceral and dangerous persona and music. He traveled the world several times over in support of the record and became a major draw in the independent show circuit. In 2004 he signed with Definitive Jux records releasing his 2nd solo album Hell's Winter. The album features production from El-P,DJ Shadow and collaborations with Jello Biafra(Dead Kennedys) and Daryl Palumbo.(GlassJaw/Head Automatica)The record received critical acclaim and in 2006 the video for Shoot Frank (the 2nd single off of Hell's Winter)was nominated for an MTVu Woodie award for best video.

Malcolm Mortimore and Gary along with four other friends in Roger Carey, Andy Williams, John Donaldson and Mick Wilson, complete the live lineup. The Texas guitar tradition runs deep. It's a gutsy school of blues playing, marked by thick tones, aggressive attack and tons of technique, all delivered in a flamboyant, swaggering style that is endemic to the Lone Star State. From T-Bone Walker and Clarence Gatemouth Brown on through Albert Collins and Freddie King, Billy Gibbons and the late Stevie Ray Vaughan, the tradition of the Texas guitar slinger has lived on. One name that ranks atop that exclusive list is Johnny Winter, the international ambassador for rocking Texas blues for the last thirty years.
His latest Grammy nominated disc titled "I'm A Bluesman" out on Virgin Records, adds to his Texas-sized reputation. For this release, Johnny has again paired with his long-time producer Dick Shurman (Robert Cray, Albert Collins, Roy Buchanan), as well as Tom Hambridge (Susan Tedeschi, George Thorogood). Performing with him on this CD are members of his scorching road-tested touring band consisting of guitarist Paul Nelson, bassist Scott Spray, and newly added drummer Vito Liuzzi with guest appearances by such friends as ace harmonica player James Montgomery, keyboardist Reese Wynans (from Stevie Ray Vaughan's celebrated backing group Double Trouble) among others.
Don't miss Johnny and his band on their current worldwide tour as he introduces audiences to his new material while reacquainting them with his iconic guitar playing.

Goode," "Maybellene" and "Memphis" have become anthems to an integrated American youth and popular culture.
