According to Variety, Arnold Schwarzenegger has lined up his next project, just a week after signing on for the fifth TERMINATOR.

The former Governor of California has boarded John Scott 3's upcoming zombie film MAGGIE, set during the beginning stages of the undead outbreak. Schwarzenegger wil play the father of a girl who's just contractd the virus - and must help her come to terms with her infection.

Production is set to begin in the fall, with Henry Hobson at the helm.

Schwarzenegger is best known for his action roles, including the TERMINATOR franchise, as well as PREDATOR, TOTAL RECALL, and CONAN THE BARBARIAN. Since leaving office as Governor of California in 2011, he has appeared in such films as The Expendables 2 and THE LAST STAND. He can next be seen in ESCAPE PLAN and TEN.
