Anita Baker in Inaugural SHN & Pacific Arts Concert Nov. 2
Anita Baker celebrated singer, multiple Grammy Award winner, composer, producer known as the woman who gave birth to "fireside love songs" and such classic gems as "Giving You The Best That I Got," "Just Because," and "Fairy Tales" with an unmistakable soulful alto voice. Baker has been heralded as one of the great song stylists of our time and is the recipient of 8 Grammy awards plus the Soul Train, NAACP Image, Billboard and Rolling Stone Awards. She's given us the best that she's got for almost two decades now, and just when other singers would be coasting on their legacy, Anita Baker returns to give us her all.
This is the inaugural concert of the newly formed relationship between SHN and Pacific Arts Presents to present a wide range of concerts by popular recording artists in SHN's premier theatrical venues. The concert will be November 2 at 8PM at The Golden Gate Theatre (1 Golden Gate Avenue at Taylor).
