Fresh from New York presentations of his works Outlaws and A Night Like this, Alexander Sage Oyen is set to release the celebrated "Moment by Moment" on December 23, in time for a Christmas.

Oyen, who cut his teeth early at the likes of New York's 54 Below and Joe's Pub, has assembled a talented Broadway studded cast including Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening, Wicked) Jason Gotay (Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, Bring It On), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia, Piece of My Heart), Alice Lee (Spring Awakening, Heathers) and George Salazar (Godspell, Here Lies Love).

With Broadway's Charlie Rosen at the helm of production and orchestration, Rosen has produced a unique and dynamic sound to capture Oyen's crafted pop/folk score. Adding to the enviable team, long time collaborator Benjamin Rauhala is credited with music direction, having worked with the cast prior to the show's New York debut.

Moment by Moment, which received its international debut in Thailand in 2013, is a hilarious and authentic look at what it means to be a young adult in a tech-driven, pup-culture-centric, entirely neurotic America.

Moment by Moment is about accidently sending a draft text message.
It's about being stuck on the L train between the East Village and Williamsburg, staring directly at your ex.
It's the three-hour line at Trader Joe's, and the hot Starbucks cashier.

It is a driving celebration of f-ing up, starting again and living to tell the tale, at least a little bit wiser. Songs include some of Oyen's most recognisable tracks including, 'I Don't Want to Lie,' 'The Bro Duet' and 'Belief.'

Of his stellar achievement, Oyen has said:
"Thematically, Moment By Moment speaks a lot about reflection, so it's fitting to release it at the end of 2014. We had some hilarious days in the studio making this album, and I think it really shows in the finished product. Our whole team is extremely proud of the project and I cannot wait for the world to hear it."

Alexander Sage Oyen is the recipient of the 2014 ASCAP Foundation's Lucille and Jack Yellen award for promising lyricists.

Recorded at Kilgore Sound, and produced by The Benge Group (I Could Use a Drink) in New York City, Moment By Moment will be released on December 23.
