Accidental Shakespeare Company brings their 13th show of their Hit & Run Shakespeare Series to life with THE COMEDY OF ERRORS on Sunday, May 18th, 2014 at the Pearl Theatre - 555 West 42nd Street, NYC.

Many years ago, two sets of twins were separated at sea. Years later and in present day, one set tries to find the other. What happens to a marriage when the husband suddenly acts like a changed man? What happens when you arrive in a strange land where everyone already knows your name? Something is odd on the island of Ephesus... INSANITY is sure to follow.

Hit & Run is more than an average performance. Actors are fully memorized and put up the FULL (partially edited) play without a bit of rehearsal. To keep it fun for audience and actors, Hit & Run functions like a game: any dropped lines, missed cues or late entrances are considered "fouls" which a referee records on a scoreboard. The actor with the most fouls at the end of the evening is awarded a prize. Audience participation ranges from bringing a prop for the actors, to joining the fun on stage.

THE COMEDY OF ERRORS cast includes: (in alphabetical order) Meghan Blakeman, Christopher Gebauer, Julia Giolzetti, John Hardin, Dan de Jesus, Julia Jones, Miranda Kahn, Nick Martorelli, Christine Sanders, Calaine Schafer and Amanda Thickpenny.
