"At The Inkwell" - the popular East Village monthly literary showcase curated by Monique Antonette Lewis - presents an intimate reading with critically acclaimed novelist / poet Kola Boof at the KGB Bar in Manhattan on Friday, July 17 beginning at 7:00pm

Boof is the Egyptian-Sudanese-American author of several bestselling novels and poetry collections, including The Sexy Part of the Bible, Flesh and the Devil and Nile River Woman. Her writing has appeared in Harper's and the story collection "Politically Inspired." Her autobiography Diary of a Lost Girl was published in 2006. Joining her at the event will be New Jersey-based poet Mark Fogarty (The Brownstone Poets Anthology, The Rutherford Red Wheelbarrow Poets).

Founded in 2013, At The Inkwell is a New York City-based supporter of published authors through feature articles, book reviews and public readings which are held every second Wednesday of the month .
