TVGuide reports that the ABC network has ordered a drama pilot, LUCKY 7 and a comedy pilot, MIDDLE AGE RAGE, from Steven Spielberg's Amblin TV Studio.
Lucky 7, penned by ER's David Zabel and 'Detroit 1-8-7's Jason Richman, will center on "seven employees of a Queens service station whose lives are changed in many unpredictable ways when they win a lottery jackpot"
The single-camera comedy Middle Age Rage will follow "a middle-aged mom who is tired of feeling invisible and begins to speak up and demand the respect she think she deserves." The pilot was written by Malibu Country's Cheryl Holliday. Smash's Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank will serve as executive producers.
Spielberg's TV Production Company was recently behind the short-lived Terra NOVA and The River. It will produce this summer's adaptation of Stephen King's Under the Dome for CBS.
