Tomorrow, Saturday, May 4, 54 Below runs the gamut from Mozart to Musto with two unique events: in the morning, "Classical Concerts for Classy Kids," and late night, "Michael Musto's 70's Disco Extravaganza."

"CLASSICAL CONCERTS FOR CLASSY KIDS"
Calling all cultured kids ...54 Below presents "Classical Concerts for Classy Kids" Saturday May 4 at 11AM. The phrase commonly heard by parents introducing their kids to classical music "But it's so boring!" will disappear in a moment with these "Classical Concerts for Classy Kids," as musical director Glen Roven offers an audience of parents and children the simple keys and tools to enjoy the masterpieces of the ages. Focusing on one piece of chamber music, Mozart's "String Quartet No. 21," the Concert starts with a description of the piece and the instruments, followed by a lunch, then a full-out-performance by The GPRrecords Festival String Quartet. Filled with insight, wit and humor, Maestro Roven concocts a concert perfect for the seasoned concert-goer as well as the novice.

Glen Roven has won Four Emmy Awards, performed at Carnegie Hall three times, conducted major symphonies throughout the world including the Israel Philharmonic and is the Artistic Director of GPRrecords, one of the most respected and innovative labels in classical music.

All tickets are $65 for adults, $32.50 for children, includes three-course lunch, non-alcoholic beverage, tax and gratuity. To obtain seats, call 54 Below at 646-476-3551 or visit www.54Below.com.

"Michael Musto'S 70'S DISCO EXTRAVAGANZA"
The mirror ball has once again relocated to the cellar with "Michael Musto's 70's Disco Extravaganza" at 54 BELOW. Back by popular demand, the event returns to 54 Below on Saturday night, May 4, starting at 11PM. Join downtown legend, disco diva, and Village Voice columnist Michael Musto with his glittery sidekicks Snooky & Tish as he performs live with disco cover band The Elektrik Company. Michael's special guest stars for the evening will be Sarah Dash (from classic group Labelle-"Lady Marmalade"-and her own disco hit, "Sinner Man"), Orfeh (Legally Blonde, Saturday Night Fever), and the diva Joey Arias (Arias With a Twist). We are pushing tables and chairs aside to make way for the dance floor, so grab a cocktail and shake your groove thing into the wee hours as the 54 Below returns to its fabulous roots.

"I was at the original Studio 54 -- every night -- so it is refreshing for me to recreate the disco classics of my youth this time for people who are only on prescription drugs," says Musto. "Mind you, when we first launched this disco party at 54 Below earlier this year, this was not my professional debut. I fronted a cover band for five years and while I might not exactly keep the spirit of Donna Summer alive with my vocals, I do a mean Peaches and Herb. To be joined by Sarah Dash, who helped create the sound of that era, is a thrill, and my other guests will help remove whatever dis is left in disco."

Cover charge is $20 for dance floor tickets. VIP seating available from $200-$300 per table. Call 54 Below at 646-476-3551 or visit www.54Below.com for more information and to make a reservation.
