The People's Choice Awards, presented annually to entertainers in The categories of music, film and television, are unique in that unlike its Oscar and Golden Globe counterparts, the nominees and winners are selected by the viewing and voting public, as opposed to a panel of industry peers.
This year, millions of fans across the country have and will vote online at pcavote.com to select their favorite contenders for the 36th installment of the People's Choice Awards. The ceremony, hosted by Queen Latifah, will broadcast live from Los Angeles on CBS on Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
