Playhouse Stage Academy

Arts Education is a vital part of the mission of Playhouse Stage Company, and we believe that no student should be denied an arts education due to barriers to entry. At Playhouse Stage Academy, we firmly believe that developing a more culturally-engaged student body provides significant on-going benefit to our entire region. We offer a variety of programs, ranging from dance and acting classes, to audition techniques, to performance opportunities for students ages 4-18. While we revel in working with students to build new skills for the theatre, and take pride in seeing our graduates go on to great success in the Broadway and film communities, we are equally concerned with providing young people with the confidence and comfort that they will need to succeed in any public speaking or professional environment. The performing arts build self-confidence and an ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others: all skills that are absolutely essential in life, school and business.
