Chicago Street Theatre in South Bend
Since 1994, Chicago Street Theatre has been dedicated to educating youth from first grade through high school. Under the direction of our Education and Artistic Director, Lisa Formosa-Parmigiano, fall and spring offers full semesters of learning in our studio theatre, culminating with showcases on the main stage. During the summer we offer a variety of camps as well as Shakespeare in Shorts and a Teen Shakespeare Workshop. The Chicago Street Theatre is home to a Teen Ensemble which is joined by invitation or audition. Every year, they take over the main stage for one weekend of performances. We try to find shows in our season that will give our students opportunities to perform on the main stage. Last summer we hosted performances by 4 of our alumni who are now working professionals in the entertainment field. We are very proud of our theatre kids!
