THE SHOCKING TRUTH ABOUT FLAT EARTH is a brand-new, original musical comedy that blends conspiracy and catchy tunes to tell the story of a woman who believes Earth is flat... and now wants to prove it. Join Sharon, best friend Debs and an unlikely bunch of misfits as they set out to discover the truth about the shape of the world — and, along the way, their place in it.
Sharon Hargreaves is disconnected from her friends, her family, and herself – spending her days lost in an online community of people who believe Earth is flat. When she decides to finally visit a Flat Earth convention in Vegas, in a moment of mistaken identity, she is propelled on an incredible journey to (literally) the end of the earth… with hilarious, heartbreaking, and heartwarming consequences.
This musical uses the 'flat earth' theory as a lens to explore something bigger: misinformation, belonging, and what we do when we're at our lowest.
