Bacchanal: meaning a wild and drunken celebration, is a genre-defying hip-hopera that follows Koalemos, Greek god of stupidity and rap phenom, on a semi-fictitious journey of an epic night out with the: gods, heroes and wrong’ens of Greek mythology.

It’s the first night since the reopening of Bacchus’ nightclub and Koalemos is standing in line, planning to indulge in a tragic night out. Blending the form of a rap concert, and gig-theatre, inspired by the sound of The Streets, Loyle Carner and Lausse The Cat, the original musical score combines live instrumentation and electronic music production with witty working-class storytelling and a penchant for poetry, this fable will leave your jaw spinning and your achilles killing in an electrifying tale of sticky dance floors, hedonistic kebab shops and hellish night buses.
