DAN WHITEHOUSE RETURNS HOME FOR SPECIAL FULL-BAND SHOW AT THE GLEE CLUB BIRMINGHAM

Award-winning Wolverhampton singer-songwriter Dan Whitehouse returns to the West Midlands this Sunday for a special homecoming performance at The Glee Club Birmingham.

The one-night-only full-band show will offer the first live preview of songs from Dan's forthcoming album, Only Love, ahead of its release in October. Exploring love, fatherhood, distance and the ties that bind us, the record draws on Dan's experience of living between Wolverhampton and Tokyo while his young son grows up in Japan.

Dan will be joined by pianist David O'Brien, travelling from Geneva after performing on the album, Danish multi-instrumentalist and long-time collaborator Gustaf Ljunggren, and local percussionist Alex Lowe.

The evening will also feature special guest Jasmine Gardosi, Birmingham Poet Laureate 2022-24, whose previous collaborations with Dan have brought together music, poetry and spoken word.

Expect an immersive evening of songs, stories, poetry and musical collaboration as Dan and his guests bring Only Love to the stage for the first time.
