I noticed that the DVD of IM in Marlowe's Edward II is now on pre-order from Amazon.com. The film comes from 1970. I am certainly curious to see it.

Mmmm, I'm sure that is one program I remember seeing on TV and it sealed the fate of the friendship between me and Shakespeare- we haven't spoken since!
I think we switched over to 'The Good Old Days'

Oh dear. But won't it be fun seeing IM in the first flush of youth? The DVD of Macbeth with him and Judi Dench always tickles me.

Filmed in such a dodgy, stagy way that now looks so awful.
They were considered masterpieces then.
