Your Perfect Sunday Afternoon Movie??

A bit off topic BUT i bet it's some movie musical adapted from a stage musical!

A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

Too busy posting on BroadwayWorld when I should be doing this, that and the other to watch a movie on a Sunday afternoon.

I did see Atonement on DVD earlier this week which was impressive.

This one! lol
I love this movie and I'm sure i watch it about 4 or 5 times a year! Just noticed that it was released 50 years ago AND NO! -i don't remember its original release!!!! I did, however, see it in a wonderful old mega cinema in Cardiff on one of its many re-releases in the 60s and 70s

i love Serial Mom. I'll never grow old of Mink Stole's outburst in the court scene at the end. The new DVD has one of the funniest commentaries with Waters and Turner i've ever heard

I just introduced my 9 year old niece to 'The Wizard Of Oz'. She'd not seen it before! O_O She was NOT impressed that it started off black and white, but I think she got into it by the end. ^_^

If I were left to my own devices, then it'd either be 'The Thick Of It' (I know, it's a TV series, I don't care, I love it :3) or 'Henry V' (Branagh's version).

Now we're watching special features on a Harry Potter DVD. Well, I say we're watching special features, the kid's watching a trailer for the video game. Rubbish! She'd like to be watching 'High School Musical', but I only own it on region 1 DVD and I have told her that the player we're using is region 2 only (even though I don't know that for a fact and hope it does play region 1 O_O). Oh look, Jim Norton is in a deleted scene of 'Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets'! How nice! :3

I think my mate reviewed 'Tin Man' for SFX. I'd like to see it, but I'm not in a massive hurry to. Lemme know if it's any good!

This has to be my alltime guilty please.

Melody is a great little film. Made a few years after Oliver, Msrk Lester and Jack Wild teamed up again for this simple story of school school live in central London. Cheesy fun

Okay, on the "starring" lines at the bottom, I completely didn't see the Tracy Hyde bit, and thought "bloody hell, Mark Lester and Jack Wild are never too young to fall in love? Isn't that a bit risque?!". I fail at reading comprehension today! ^_^
