Hiya everyone - I'm a little clueless as to what's playing in the West End right now and I wanted to see a show or two while I'm there. (I lived in London last summer and saw 17 shows.) I wanted to see whatever was at The National Theatre... or whatever the RSC was putting on, but what commercially is out that I should see? Thanks in advance!

Book it NOW then - seats were already hard to come by two to three weeks ago and the show will def. be a fully sold out run by the time you get here.

I'm a little confused by your dates, but if they mean you'll be in town when 'War Horse' is on at the National, then you MUST see it!

I think it means either the 7th or 9th of July until the 18th, though it could mean the 18th of July to the 18th of September.
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Ah, I think your former explanation is the one. Thanks. :)

But booo, you'll not see 'War Horse'! And 'Black Watch' appears to have already sold out. XP Never mind, we'll try and find you something great. :3

Oops, I was wrong. 7/9 in American dates is July 9th, until the 18th then, I suppose. Not the 7th or 9th.

They mean July 9th to 18th.
A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

Yes, Sorry about that! Us crazy yanks and our date formats, haha. I mean that I will be there from the 9th of July until the 18th.

I will definitely check out 'War Horse'!

Yea put that at the top of your list. By then it will be huge and will probably be planning a NY transfer come New Year.
