Can't somebody hide Rachael Wooding in a box somewhere?

She was awful in Evita xD

Thats a very offensive comment to make about Rachael Wooding

It always make me wonder why the casting director put some in majors role's when they " should be put in a box"

Do you work in the theatre and if so what are performing in at the moment?

And darling, there's no point posting the same message on this thread as you send to me in a personal message.

I'll just give you the same reply Casting for London Bright Lights Big City

Looking forward to seeing this, especially Paul Ayres in it. Last time I saw him was in Jersey Boys as understudy for Bob Gaudio and I really enjoyed his performance.

I'd forgotten how much I liked this until I put the CD on after reading this thread!

Haven't actually seen anyone in the cast perform before but previously heard good things about Ayres in JB as the understudy.

I have seen Rachael Wooding give very good performances in We Will Rock You, Hairspray and Evita, and I think that comment is just plain nasty. Might go and see this.

Never seen this show nor heard anything from the score. But it's the same composer (Paul Scott Goodman) as "Rooms", which I saw at New World Stages in New York last year - and I loved that!

Unfortunately this is on such a short run that I don't think I'll be able to get to see it.

I disliked Rachael Wooding lots in Evita, but she was great in Hairspray. It kinda sounds like ClapYoHands meant she should die. I don't think he meant that haha.

She was sat behind me in Starbucks when I went up to see Starbucks. True story.
Love Bright Lights, but I agree, the artwork is gross!

I love the cast recording- Patrick Wilson is incredible, as is thingummy who plays his mother (my memory these days!)

I don't think we need to be quite so sensitive about dismissive comments- we all tend to speak in hyperboles here.

I have to say I heard one or two uncomplimentary things about Miss Wooding, but most people get criticized here for something or other- even the saintly Michael Crawford and that genius Andrew Lloyd What's it- so she needn't feel too crushed about any views expressed!

... Ann Marie Milazzo- see, I knew I'd remember her name in the end!

Love AnnMarie Milazzo on this and a few other recordings. I gather she did vocal arrangements for Spring Awakening too?

Bright Lights is something I'd like to see although doubt it will work as anything other than a recording.

Wooding's awesome!! I'm very impressed by what I've seen of Jodie too. I don't know a lot about this show but I'm looking forward to seeing it, the cast alone is enough to pursuade me.

Rachael Wooding, Jodie Jacobs, Paul Ayres and Lori Haley Fox all in one fringe show. That's amazing. Booked my tickets. 10. Not bad!

Really enjoyed this. Good solid rock score, well performed. The plot was a bit thin, and the sound at times was slightly dodgy in that the music overpowered the singers but all in all a good night out. Very short, only 80 minutes. Lovely venue.
