....website

Tickets went onsale online only on Thursday, and the amount of traffic to the site crashed it. The 'select your own seat' is now disabled for Les Miserables. Phone bookings open Monday.

Never underestimate the power of the French!!

Big Les Mis fan, and im pleased to see regional theatres getting such a rush of business.

Oh yes, as you know by other threads I was at Les Mis at the Queen's theatre last night and it is partly because it has a very hardcore following and the Susan Boile effect, speaking to the box office "Susan Boile has had a significant effect on ticket sales".
They could easily do this tour again and sit down for a lot longer in each theatre.

I am surprised as I thought this would be the perfect show to open the new theatre in Dublin, imagine having the native Colm Wilkinson doing Valjean, I would be straight on the website and book a ticket.

If they opened Les Miserable a year latter at The Broadhurst, New York this would still be running now, because of the Susan Boile factor.

It is amazing isn't it? It seems like it could easily play for twice as long at each venue.

What a shame the theatre going public wont support much more deserving productions beside this crap!
Joe Public, shame on you!
