THOR and THE AVENGERS Star Tom Hiddleston Wants to Return to Theatre

According to WENN.com, British actor Tom Hiddleston is considering a return to the stage.

"I'm quite excited," Hiddleston told Wenn, "I'm actively reading plays at the moment to try and find something interesting and different I could do. I also think it would be nice, I need to test myself in that arena again."

Hiddleston began his career in theatre. His stage credits include Donmar Warehouse's production of Othello, directed by Michael Grandage and acted alongside Ewan McGregor. Hiddleston has also appeared in the West End revival of Ivanov, The Children's Monologues at The Old Vic and The Kingdom of Earth at Criterion Theatre.

Hiddleston's film appearances include Thor, War Horse, The Avengers, The Deep Blue Sea, Midnight in Paris and the upcoming Thor: The Dark World. TV credits include Wallander, Suburban Shootout, Return to Cranford and more.
