Jamie Lloyd Productions, Trafalgar Transformed, Richard III and East is East full cast hand over event and Q&A led by artistic director, Jamie Lloyd, on Wednesday 17 September.

Trafalgar Transformed Artistic Director, Jamie Lloyd, curates another season of powerhouse plays in the reconfigured Trafalgar Studios. This is the second season of work by Jamie Lloyd Productions, a partnership between acclaimed director Jamie Lloyd and Ambassador Theatre Group.

Richard III starring Martin Freeman (Clybourne Park, The Hobbit, Sherlock, Fargo) will complete its run at Trafalgar Studios on 27 September. East is East starring the multi award-winning actress Jane Horrocks (Young Vic's Annie Get Your Gun, Sunshine on Leith, The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice, Absolutely Fabulous) as Ella Khan and East is East's award-winning playwright Ayub Khan Din as George Khan, will run from the 4 October.

In the aftermath of civil war, Richard, Duke of Gloucester, makes a hateful resolution to claw his way to political power at any cost. A master of manipulation, subtle wit and beguiling charm, he orchestrates his unlawful ascent by spinning a ruthless web of deceit and betrayal. His staunch ambition soon begins to weigh heavy, as the new ruler finds himself utterly alone and steeped in dread, forced to answer for his bloody deeds and face the horrifying consequences.

Pakistani chip-shop owner George Khan - "Genghis" to his kids - is determined to give his children a strict Muslim upbringing against the unforgiving backdrop of 1970s Salford. Household tension reaches breaking point as their long-suffering English mother, Ella, gets caught in the cross fire - her loyalties divided between her marriage and the free will of her children.
