Hasselhoff to Play Captain Hook in PETER PAN, 12/10

According to The Telegraph, David Hasselhoff will make his pantomime debut as Captain Hook in the New Wimbledon Theatre production of Peter Pan. 'The Hoff' joins reality television star Louie Spence, who who is set to play Roger.  The show opens December 10.

"Peter Pan is a show that has always been close to my heart, as my first theatre role was playing Lost Boy Nibs when I was a child," Hasselhoff said.

"I am so delighted to be asked to join this British tradition. I know all about pantomime as some of my good friends have already appeared in previous productions. They have told me how much fun it is. Get ready London for Hoff The Hook!"

David Michael Hasselhoff is perhaps best known for playing Michael Knight in the popular 1980s U.S. series Knight Rider and as L.A. County Lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in the series Baywatch. Hasselhoff also produced Baywatch for a number of seasons in the 1990s up until 2001, when the series ended with Baywatch Hawaii. 

More recently, Hasselhoff has been involved with talent shows such as NBC's America's Got Talent from 2006-2009. Hasselhoff was the first celebrity eliminated from eleventh season of Dancing with the Stars, on September 21, 2010.
